This past weekend in the Foothills of South Carolina, where I live, snow came. It wasn’t a lot, just enough to cover the ground and turn everything beautifully white. Snow in autumn is just not something that happens here. Heck, snow in December normally doesn’t happen here.
We’re just now getting our peak fall colors and we had planned to go leaf peepin’ in the mountains. Instead, we got to see this crazy mix of peek fall foliage and white winter snow. The contrast was strange and yet breathtaking at the same time. Enjoy.
